We invite you to participate in our art wedding workshop in an inspiring historic 15 CENTURY VENETIAN VILLA.
We usually select the best places for our wedding photography projects.
This time we decided to spend unforgettable one day together in VERONA, AT VILLA ARVEDI. We ARE GOINT TO live and create at this majestic place.
A few kilometers from Verona, in a prominent spot overlooking the Valpantena valley in Grezzana, sits Villa Arvedi, one of the grandest Venetian villas in the area and likely in all of Veneto. Originally built as a fortress-palace for the Dal Verme family, the estate was transferred to the Allegri family in 1437. Almost two centuries later, in 1656, architect Giovanni Battista Bianchi was hired to expand and renovate the villa. Artists Ludovico Dorigny, Santo Prunati, and Fra’ Giuseppe Falezza decorated the new rooms and large halls.
In 1824, the last member of the Allegri family sold the villa to the Arvedi family, who produced silk. The Arvedis decided not to turn the villa into a spinning mill and instead preserved its agricultural use, focusing on growing grapes and producing olive oil, a tradition that continues today.
Villa Arvedi remains in the family and is now open to the public for guided tours (by reservation),
